Burke concluded that all models of trust are comprised of pillars: ability, integrity and benevolence. Based on these pillars, provide an example of a challenging situation where trust may be difficult to achieve, or where trust was achieved based on these pillars. Conclude with a provocative question to foster discussion regarding your example. Burke has nicely concluded all the theories of trust under three pillars for trust. All the three pillars need to be parallelly practiced in order to gain the trustworthiness. If anyone of the pillar is "zero", the overall outcome will be "zero". After reading more about Burke's theory, it reminded me about a project which my company undertook for a client. The project was handed over to one of our project manager Mr. X. In terms of the three pillars of trust, He was very competent and capable to do the job. His focus was on the outcome and delivering the results. He would do a lot of homework afore the commencement of the project so that he can resolve any doubts/clarifications the team may have. His project plan was very detailed and self-explanatory, the plan will be finalized based on inputs of all the stakeholders.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
