Foster a discussion on the cultural dimensions presented by Hofstede and Trompenaars studies as they are relevant to global project managers. In doing so, recall working with someone located in a different country. What memorable event did you experience that would not have happened if your colleague had been located in your same country? If you haven't worked with someone located in a different country, what type of barriers do you think you may come across? Invite brief discussion among classmates by concluding with a provocative question or asking for comments and discussion regarding your closing opinion. Due to the growth in IT, demanding business needs, capturing new territories, the businesses and companies have gone global. Along with that, their projects are planned on a global scale. This has opened a pandora box of Global issues categorized as - Political, Economic, Natural, Infrastructure, Cultural, and Legal (1). These issues are not faced by a PM when the project is managed locally.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
