Cisco Switches in China: The year of the Manager If you were in Raznjevic's position, would you promote Jasmine Zhou? Why or why not? If I was in Raznjevic's position, I would promote Jasmine Zhou. Zhou has the expertise and skills for the position. She possesses a similar educational background as a developer. Before joining Cisco, she was a developer working with Nortel for a year and a half. She joined Cisco as a test engineer and became a test manager. She has experience as both, a tester and developer. Being in both the positions, she is highly aware of the warfare between both the positions. After working in Canada, she is aware of the culture of the western world, and being a native of China, she is well aware of local cultures. In fact, she will be an asset in resolving any conflicts between tester and developers. Rotation and promotion is also essential for employee satisfaction. Moving Zhou
