Procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something. In this week’s readings from College Success the authors gave many strategies for overcoming procrastination. Two of the strategies that stuck out to me was “counter a negative with a positive” and “counter a negative with a worse negative.” With these two strategies you then will become aware of the cost of procrastination. By knowing the cost of procrastinating you will be able to motivate yourself and stop postponing whatever it may be. Implementing these techniques in my personal growth as a student will not only help me to stay on the right track but it will also help me to reach my goals on time. I plan on looking at the overall outcome both good and bad the positive and negative sides of what will happen if I procrastinate. I am going to implement these strategies in my daily living as well so that I can keep everything balanced and on a schedule. Time management is a key
