Listen carefully to what needs to be included in your response for each image. Justinian I: * What this image represents is Justinian 1 with his soldiers and his congress people. I feel that this image is showing that after the plague he barely had any soldiers or congress people left . It also tells us how they stuck together. Invasions: * What this shows me is the land that was owned by the Byzantine Empire. It also shows where the Barbarians attacked the Byzantine Empire during the 6 th -8 th century. It also shows how the people fought to take the land as payment back, I know this because it shows two different sides but they are all mixed up and are all fighting against each other.
