He talks about the lessons he learned while working at the factory and why college shouldn't be taken for granted. I thought the author's article was well written and has the potential to inspire others to take college seriously or even inspire those who are on the fence about going to college. The article's main claim of not taking a higher education for granted is argued properly because the author includes his experience with suddenly losing a job, working hard and receiving little pay, and the difference between a blue collar job and white collar job.
