a. Please describe your high school and what you liked and did not like about it? I am going to talk about Le Hong Phong High School for the gifted that I am currently attending. My school, which is among one of the best school in South Vietnam, is well-known for its talented students and high achievements. The school offers classes not only for those who are majoring in single subject but also for unspecialized students majoring in group subjects. There are several things I like and dislike about this school. To begin with, Le Hong Phong gives me many opportunities to improve and develop. Every year, my school welcomes a large number of educational institutions from other countries such as Japan, France and England. Therefore, the students have a chance to meet foreign friends and exchange culture with oversea nations, expanding relationship as well as knowledges about various countries. Moreover, there are 15 clubs plus more than 10 activities in the school, so whenever I feel exhausted about lessons, I can find a place to enjoy. Students are encouraged to be creative, to find inspiration and to inspire others. We are free to think out of the box or think in a differentway due to the debating property that every lessons must contain. On the other hand, inmy opinion, there are some drawbacks about my school. As I have mentioned, the school is famous for its proficient students and abundant awards, every students are considered talented and excellent; therefore, their self-esteem is too big. On that grounds, whenever there are any team-working projects, the teammates often do not get along with each other. It consumes time to resolve conflicts because almost everyone always consider what they say or think is right. In addition, I really disapprove of how competition the school is as well as the emphasis on grades. The study system makes students realize they need to get the top grades, otherwise they think they are nugatory. The determination in studying is good but it somewhat makes people lack confidence or other necessary skills such as interpersonal or public speaking skills. In spite of that, I never fail to take pride in the school. I feel thoroughly ecstatic everyday going to school because all of my friends and teachers are extremely benevolent. I havespace to run, to improve everyday and to complete my goals. Having a chance to study in Le Hong Phong is the most unforgettable thing in my life.b. Please describe your family and/or community and what you think you will miss most when you live somewhere else.I hold a strong belief that family is the most valuable and priceless thing for me that I cannot do without it. My family, which is a nuclear one, is made up of three people alongwith three different characteristics. It can be inferred that I am an only child and this gives me a view that children in an extended family may not get. First, my parents have various ways to show affection towards me or take care of their child. For example,
