PUBLIC HEALTH 2Margaret Higgins Sanger was known as an early year’s women’s/ feminist privilege activist. She once coined the term “birth control” as well as worked for itscorroboration. Margaret was born in the year 1879 in Corning, NY. She then moved towards Greenwich Village in 1910 to promote women’s privilege to birth control and start a magazine. Obscenity regulations then forced her to escape the state until 1915. In 1916 feminist opened the very first birth control hospital in America, where she fought for women’s rights for the rest of her life. She then passed away in 1966. Margaret Sanger, activist and communal reformer, was born into a family of eleven children of a Roman Catholic lower-class Irish-American family. Her mother Anne had several miscarriages, Margaret considered the pregnancies took atoll on her mother’s fitness as well as contributed to her death at the age of forty. The family lived in poverty as her father who was Irish, Michael, worked as a stonemason, liked to drink and speak politics rather than earn a good wage for the family. As Margaret sought out to have a better existence, she attended Claverack University as well as Hudson River organization in 1896. She took classes for nursing at the White Plains sanatorium for four years. Then in 1902, Margaret

Margaret worked as a visiting nurse mainly in the slum region of he east side, as her husband worked as a designer and a house artist. She then took to fundamental politics as well as modernist significances of the pre-World War I Greenwich rural community in Bohemia. Margaret then joined a female’s Committee of New York communist party, she took part in the labor behavior of Industrial employees of the World and became engaged in local academics, left-
