Learning guide unit 4
Taking ownership of your learning means that I am independence, I decide what I will learn
based on my own interest. Taking ownership of my learning is hard since I own to be responsible
for what I learn, I will be the only one who has to be accountable for my success or the failure.
But if I have to look at the positive side of taking ownership of my own learning, it is very
rewarding as I gain independence and start to understand my capabilities. I will be very happy
with my success, but I will see my failure as my teacher. My failure will be like my teacher and
will teach me what I have done and what I will have to do next, my experience and will make me
realize what not to do next time, and also it will make learn and improve myself and move on.
Being self-motivated is very important as we take ownership of our own learning.
I always look at the big picture because I believe that it is very important that I need to see
the bigger picture rather than being not motivated and do not know which direction I want to go.
My ultimate goal is to graduate from UoPeople in four years and become a computer Engineer.
By started taking my classes at UoPeople, I feel like I have stepped on to the path of reaching my
goal one way. In order to graduate in four years, it is very important for me to know which class I
