2For this specific case study, 57-year-old, Mr. Speed has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. This disease was detected in its’ early stage and therefore could benefit tremendously from using the medication and therapy early on. Mr. Speed lives with his wife and both are currently working full-time. Although Mr. Speed was diagnosed with this disease, he would still like to continue working and living his normal life as best as he can. Alzheimer’s is commonly known as dementia. Alzheimer’s is a brain disease that does not have a cure and progresses with time and in result deteriorates the patients thinking skills andmemory. There is not a definite cause for having Alzheimer’s, however there is reason to believe that it may be because of the amount of protein amyloid in the brain. Those that are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease are typically of the age of 65 years and older. Although it is most common in individuals who are elderly, this specific case has affected Mr. Speed who is 57 years
