Ziggurat: Created during the 3rdDynasty of Ur 2150-2004 BC and was meant to glorify themselves. Looked like pyramids with massive step platforms ascended by ramps. Can be called as the home of the Gods and shows the respect of the Gods.Ut-Napishtim: A person within the Epic of Gilgamesh who was given divine protection and survived the flood that the Gods sent to Earth. Later given immortality as he saved humanity. Met by Gilgamesh and instructed him to get a plant to get eternal youth but had failed.Gilgamesh: Sumerian Ruler of the City of Uruk during about 2700 that was a tyrant but became a peaceful man after meeting Enkidu and losing him making him unsuccessfully attempt to gain immortality. Learns that everything that he has done on earth will be something to remember him.Enkidu: Person created by the Gods to challenge Gilgamesh’s tyranny but is tamed by a prostitute and becomes friends with Gilgamesh. Is later afflicted by a terminal disease and dies to spite Gilgamesh by the Gods.Sargon: King of Akkad that attacked Mesopotamia and took control during (2340-2284) and left a small dynasty to control Mesopotamia. Was left in the river at birth and was then found and raised. Dynasty lost control in 2159 when invaders came from the east. Hammurabi: Ruler of Babylon during the Old Period 2003-1595 that rose to power by strengthening ownkingdom and capturing cities of Isin, Nippur, Uruk and Ur. Most notably imposed a code of law called Code of Hammurabi which outlined rules and their punishments meant to keep people at bay. The concept of eye for an eye was created but kingdom came to an end from sea people from south and Hittites from north.
