Explain Heading the socialization process of newly hired nurses at a local hospital, all new hires would go through an extensive orientation to become familiar with the hospitals policies, codes, and standard procedures. This would include presentations, online learning module and job shadowing. During this orientation I would ensure they are aware of all our benefits and resources we have to offer. They would understand that we value our employee’s physical and mental health as much as we do the patients. Many of our resources and benefits our hospital has to offer would be discussed during orientation, including and not limited to discounted gym membership, work-life balance, and mental health days to help alleviate the daily stress.
