Jewish, more criminal business connection, not a real business connection. 3. Mr. Wolfsheim’s cuff buttons are made from human molars, and it signifies a mixture of sophistication, as well as barbarians at the same time. Shows he is criminal, violent. 4. Jordan’s comment on the pearls signify that the pearls had lost their significance, for she is not choosing to wear them anymore, however, they are forced on her.
