Isaiah MMPA 6405: Ethics & Social Justice 09/25/2017 Centers of Disease Control & Prevention Once know as the Communicable Disease Center, The Centers of Disease Control (CDC) is one of the major operating components of the Department of Health and Human Services . It opened it’s doors on July 1, 1946 in Atlanta, GA. The centers of disease control works all day, every day to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S. Regardless of whether infections begin at home or abroad, are chronic or acute, curable or preventable, human error or deliberate attack, CDC fights disease and supports communities and citizens to do the same. The Centers of Disease Control it to ensure security over the lives of the people. Today, CDC is recognized around the world as the nation's premier health promotion, prevention, and preparedness agency and a global leader in public health (CDC). The culture of an organization can impact the formation of ethical and unethical policies and practices by creating policies to administer and control all organizational operations which may either be ethical and unethical. Unethical policies for the most part influence the organization's operations contrarily in light of the fact that they are joined by issues that
