Week 3 Reflection This week I have learned a great deal about Igneous Rock and what I really found interesting was the seven most common types of the rock. Granted I have only been on this planet for twenty-six years I think I can honestly say I have seen all of these probably without knowing what they were. Now I can use my geology skills that I have learned so far in this class and impress the wife when we are hiking around the mountains by identifying some of these different types of igneous rocks. When I thought about rocks I just thought everything was the same. It is truly amazing how many different minerals are used to create one rock. Also, how these minerals have certain effects on these rocks that will give them their unique color. I truly enjoyed learning about volcanoes this week, they are by far the most interesting feature
