The cave painting were made by people who were the Upper Paleolithic people. The name of the first pieces of work were known as La Pena de Candamo. It was created from 30,000 to 25,000 BP in Altamira, Spain and ended around 18,000 BP. It still resides in the same place. Some artwork was large, but not all of them were. It was a variety of work, mostly bison, but they were made from pain that was created from pigments like ochre and zinc oxides.

Objects that I can identify from the artwork is the different animals such as what I believe to be deer, birds and buffalo. They are all placed together like a union of all the animals becoming a whole. They are not completing an actual task, but this could be a testimony of all the animals the people cherished, killed or believed to be symbolic.
