THE VALUE IN RECRUITING AND DEVELOPING A 2 The Value in Recruiting and Developing a Multicultural Staff DESCRIPTION Global organizations are evolving regarding management and leadership. Workplaces have become an avenue for multicultural staff that drives the daily corporate and business operations. The modern trends in business are characterized by globalization, leading to an increase in diversity concerning the ethnicity and gender as evidenced by Barclays (2014). Based on this evidence, organizational managers are continually required to change their management styles to ensure inclusivity in a manner that adds value to their business ventures. The recruitment process in many organizations should, therefore, adhere to the management principles that balance between their multicultural staff to ensure ethical decision making and integration of the different cultures, values, and norms for the positive development of modern businesses. Analyzing this research it was found that the benefits of maintaining a diverse staff are essential in explaining how multicultural staff have enhanced the value creating this kind of culture and have given the modern business organization increased competitiveness. INTRODUCTION There is significant diversity among the world populations in the twenty-first century. Population demographics have evolved regarding the composition and the cultural diversity. People from different races and ethnicities have different fertility rates as well as adoption into the workforce. These dynamics get the organization caught in between the web of recruiting people from different backgrounds, with different values, cultural norms and general perceptions ( Stahl, Mäkelä, Zander, & Maznevski, 2010). Such diversities have led the organizations to think of the most appropriate ways to integrate the diverse culture and values for the optimum gain. The current proposition is that the organization should emphasize having staff from different

cultural backgrounds to create competitive advantages and boost their performance (Barclay, 2014). This trend has gained considerable recognition and acceptance among the global ventures.
