Unformatted text preview: Sam Seider Self Assessment Ca100-028 12/14/07 Self Assessment: A Year in Review “Success is a journey, not a destination.” This aphorism is a quote that many people live their life by. However, this quote applies to our Communication Arts 100 class as well. It is evident that success in this class is not measured in letter grades, but rather self assessment. The way I think I am progressing is more important than my actual grade because when I actually have to give a speech in real life, I am not going to have a TA dock me because of an apparent “lack of effort” or because I used an organizational structure that did not fit the exact model that a book presents. The only thing that will matter is how the audience reacts to my speech. I can confidently say that I will face my future speech challenges with conviction because I have made improvements in many aspects of my speaking ability.
