Sam Seider Self Assessment Ca100-028 11/26/07 Persuasive Speech Self Assessment The ability to watch myself on video allows me to breakdown the areas of public speaking that I excel in, but also shows the areas I need to improve on. Careful analysis shows that I have improved on delivery in the aspects of stance, articulation, and rate. Also, the video shows that my content reaches and exceeds the goals of the assignment. On the other side of the coin, it is evident that I need to work on eye contact, stance, organizational methods, and the practicality argument. I will first analyze my speech in terms of content. The speech started off strong by using statistics about facebook. The audience was shocked about how prevalent the use of facebook is. Also, the reference to my survey showed that they were the target audience and had reason to pay attention. As the speech progressed to the body, it was clear that I effectively organized my main points and established the need for a change of policy. Along with this, the body utilized
