Bockwurst – a German sausage traditionally made from ground veal and pork. Bratwurst – a type of German sausage made from veal, beef, or most commonly pork Emmenthaler- a yellow, medium-hard Swiss cheese that originated in the area around Emmental, Canton Bern. It has a savory, but mild taste. Fondue- a Swiss dish of melted cheese served in a communal pot over a portable stove heated with a candle or spirit lamp, and eaten by dipping bread into the cheese using long- stemmed forks Cornichons- pickled cucumber is a cucumber that has been pickled in a brine, vinegar, or other solution and left to ferment for a period of time, by either immersing the cucumbers in an acidic solution or through souring by lacto-fermentation.
