Despite the fact that voting is crucial because it affects every aspect of our lives, political participation of youth has been particularly declining, and it raised a red flag. While youth voters make half of the voting population, number of youths’ voting is incomparably lower than older Americans, and it has detrimental effects on the nation. The percentage of young adults’ political participation has been declining over the years. There are several factors that causes this predicament: life satisfaction and dissatisfaction among employedand unemployed young adults, and internal and external influences on young adults.
