John Dewey By Sarah Madison
Who was John Dewey? John Dewey was a philosopher, psychologist and educational reformer who was a leading individual that promoted progressive education in the US. Throughout Dewey’s life he worked endlessly along with Charles S. Peirce and Williams James to advocate for how they thought a student-focused educational system should look like, and how it should work within the classroom.
