Journal Entry 4 -2There are so many ways to consider individual perceptions in conflict management. In general, people’s views, qualities, and characteristics influences how everyone acts and thinks. As a leader of an organization, management needs to fully understand and accept people as they are. The key is learning how to manage all types of people and personalities when differences arise. Management also needs to be able to support people, their opinions, and actions that they take. In other words, learning how to not offend anyone and give constructive criticism on how to turn differences and conflict into positivity. In taking it further, organizations should provide diversity training (Duggan, 2016). Providing this type of training can help avoid and help prevent having argumentative and intimidating work places for people with different cultures, attributes and perceptions.
