Comcast has more customers than EchoStar, DirecTV, and Cox. The National Association of Broadcasters is a trade organization of the television and radio industry. Fox News Channel, CNN, and MSNBC all have 24/7 news networks. TV stations affiliated with a network have the most viewers. CHAPTER 9 PRACTICE TEST The Telecommunications Act of 1996 promised more competition, more diversity, lower prices, more jobs, and a better economy. Unreliable information is easier to find on the Internet than in newspapers because in older media economic survival depends on keeping the confidence of readers.
