Abhi Parikh HDFS 129S Mrs. Moon Part of the first year seminar is to experience different activities and social gatherings. On October 22, 2007 there was a seminar that was conducted Mr. & Mrs. Stakic. Both are doctors and are professors from a Penn State branch campus. They are active members of UNICEP. UNICEP is the lead UN organization working for the long-term survival, protection and development of children. Its programmes focus on immunization, primary health care, nutrition and basic education. Mr. Vjuradj Stakic describe the difference between people who are from different cultures. Unformatted text preview: we had to do. In the game we where not allowed to talk or write anything down. The only thing we could do was to gesture what we wanted to say and show. By the end of 30 minutes everybody was tired of the game. Dr. Stakic told us that the object of the game was to recognize the people around the U.S. as well as other countries how they would respond to other nationalities who spoke different languages. It gives me a sense of feeling that I was the only student in that conference center who spoke Guajarati and Hindi that is originated from India....
