1 Antwon Pope CWV 101 Prof. Gale Watkins October 30, 2018 Gospel Essentials The Gospel represents Gods good news. Throughout time God has spread the good news through all who have graced the planet earth. This paper will serves as an attempt to summarize and analyze the essential elements of the Christian worldview. I will cover the topics of God, humanity, Jesus, restoration, analysis, and offer reflection. God is the essence of good. In Genesis 1:1, we learned he created the heavens and the earth. What can be better than that? God only wants to see goodness. God is an energetic force that wants the best for all his creations. God is all-knowing and full of compassionate. Just think, God created man in his image to watch over the livestock and not eat it. This is just one noticeable example of his compassion for his earthly creations. God is intentional with his love. God is divine holiness and no matter what a humans have done wrong, God allows one to repent and he forgives. God stresses the love for humanity. Christians believe that God is one God, yet they also believe that God is the trinity because he represents three distinct persons- the Holy Son, Holy Spirit, and the Heavenly Father. God as the trinity watches over our every move and shapes our lives at his discretion. God is fair with his punishment. God is perfect and deserves to be praised by all. In order to restore the goodness to the world, God sacrificed his son Jesus Christ for the sins of us all. God is good all the time. According to a passage from Attributes of 1
