UNIT 2 VENTILATION REPORT 2AbstractAcme has taken the proactive approach to address, if applicable, the health and safety of their employees. The information contained within this report is designed to inform Acme Manufacturing Company of whether or not the current ventilation systems that are in place are adequate to protect employees from an over exposure to particulates and gases. This report will determine the employee’s actual exposure to iron oxide, whether the samples were valid, and if not, why? The report will determine if the current hazardous materials storage area is adequate and meets the requirements of Acme’s insurance carrier. Recommendations will be provided if not. Finally, a recommendation will be made to replace the currently outdated engineering controls located in the foundry room to limit employee exposure to the particulates and gases there.
UNIT 2 VENTILATION REPORT 3Unit 2 Ventilation ReportThis report will provide reports pertaining to proper ventilation, or lack thereof, of each of the following departments: Welding Room, Hazardous Materials Storage Area, and the Foundry Room. Calculations will be provided to ensure the accuracy of the information providedin this report. Finally, recommendations will be provided to ensure that Acme Manufacturing Company make a well informed decision in providing their employees with proper ventilation.
