Presented with twenty-five sites with the possibility of being excavated in Fugawiland, there were many factors to take into consideration. I chose and excavated ten sites from along the lake shore, on the river, in the southern hills, and on the plain between the lakeshore and the hills. These partially random and partially intuitive selections of sites were chosen based on the sampling of the entire area I wanted to get. After excavating the ten sites, I found that the Fugawi left behind scraps of White- tailed deer, which seemed to be used intensively during the fall and winter seasons. White-tailed deer were abundant throughout Fugawiland and were easily hunted during the fall mating season because they were more curious and move around more than other season. Cottontail rabbit were hunted before and after the winter season and were found mainly along the rivers. Acorns were collected and used during the fall season. On the lakeshore, Freshwater Mussels and Lake Trout were collected during the summertime. These times are not exact and may not be even close due to the sites I excavated. These
