The film does not open with equilibrium, and there is no disruption of the equilibrium for the 35 seconds. It was shot in Lyon, France in the spring of 1895. The film depicts a handy joke where a boy torments a scene planter who is watering his crops. While watering the plants, the kid ventures on the hose subsequently cutting-off the water supply. When the gardener tilts the spout to investigate the flow of water, the boy takes his foot off the tube making the water shower him. The nurseryman is amazed, and his cap falls the ground, but he notices what occurred. In this way, the camera remains in its original position until he catches the boy.
