last day to drop for 100% refund is Thursday, January 20; last day to drop with a 'W' is Tuesday,
April 5. The final exam is on Monday, May 2, 12:00  1:50.

IEng/Math 381: Introduction to Probability and Statistics
Course Description
(From the catalog) Review of general principles of statistical inference, linear regression and
correlation, multiple linear regression, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and the statistical design
of experiments.
(Tentative Material and Text Sections: Leastsquares and regression (selected portions of
Chapters 12 and 13), Confidence intervals (7.1  through middle of p. 288, 7.2, 7.3  through
middle of p. 303), Hypothesis tests (selected portions of sections 8.18.4, then 5.5, selected
portions of 9.19.4, 10.1), and 2^k Factorial designs (selected portions of Chapter 11  can rely
on class notes here).)
