Imagine you are sitting along the beach watching a boat rock back and forth in the waves. Write a paragraph, create a slideshow, or use a Web 2.0 tool to summarizing the pathway of the boat's light reflections entering your eye through to the perception of the neural message by the visual cortex. Be sure to include all visual structures and their respective functions. First, as light hits my eyes, my cornea will bend the light so that the boat is brought into focus. In response, my pupil will become smaller, taking in a bright visual. Through visual accommodation, my lens will then pass the information to my retina, where the information regarding light waves is processed through photo receptors. My cones then take in information on the lights and colors I am seeing. This activates bipolar neurons, which then activate ganglion cells. These cells process
