Page 3 Research Methods (BS4S14-V1) Reflection Levelling with clients about their perspectives on the services offered and recommendations gave the opportunity to really do a self-evaluation as to how I can improve on myself in the capacity of an advisor but also ensuring clients do have more of a desirable experience in their day to day dealings at Company Investments limited at the end of the day our mission is to ‘transform livesthrough lasting relationships’. In producing the piece “Effectiveness of Financial Planning: A case study of clients incorporating financial planning in their lives at Company Investments Limited, Country”I gained perspective on how others may think, each person is different their experiences are different which may attest to how they treat others and expect to be treated, communication is very important; stating expectations and compromise where needed, clients place a lot of requirements on advisors without really knowing what their day to day activities are like to illustrate how difficult it may be to process a transaction themselves versus passing it on to another department which sole purpose is to conduct this, however may not be as effective as one person doing it but it’s not an efficient way to conduct business on a daily business in the grand scheme of things. If both parties communicate this before-hand it allows a more smooth process. Ideally, I would have liked to do a questionnaire as a method of data collection along with the interviews but with the time frame and work schedule at that time I’d stretch myself quite thin and produce a less than desirable assignment. I realized I was more reactive than proactive; it was a wakeup call that this program is no walk in the park.
