How many of ya'll would rather buy something American made as opposed to foreign products? Wouldn't it make you feel better to own a product manufactured here in our home by our people, our American family? I konw that untill my research over my topic, I had this opinion in the areas of the Automotive field. In purchasing a vehicle, I would look no where other than Chevrolet, Ford, or Dodge, or the smaller branches of these companies. Better fuel economy, more horsepower, interior comfort, better cornering and handling, or even better price meant absolutely nothing to me. I had a very strict policy and a very strong opinion of automotive patriotism. I bought only American made vehicles. Just recently, when researching this topic, I found that my idea of an American made vehicle was very incorrect. In my mind, American made vehicles were made of grade A steel. They were hand made and built to last. Everything else was just a foreign "P.O.S" made of plastic and weak composite
