Cierra Robinson Nonverbal Diary Day 1: Go to an area with trees and grass. Close your eyes and be aware of what you sense, smell, feel, hear and so on.Location: My backyard overlooking the golf course. Personal Reaction: I was sitting on the fake grass in my backyard and the feel of the plastic wasn't pleasant. Not the mention it was hot outside and I could feel the sweat dripping down my back as I just sat there. Then as I sat there a little longer I was greeted by a nice breeze in the air which felt amazing. It was truly peaceful outside and extremely quite, which was nice. The golf course was extra perfect and green in those moments sitting on my plastic grass. Day 2: Go to a playground and play. Swing on the swings, slide on the slide.....Location: Tri City Park, Placentia Personal Reaction: Walking up to the swings I felt giddy inside. I felt like a little kid again as I was swinging on the rusty red swings. I brought my best friend with me and we couldn’t help but laugh and smile at each other the whole time. At one point I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and felt pure bliss. It felt like a moment that I didn't want to end. A moment that I wanted to last forever.
