Scenario
You are a Manager for a large corporate catering company called ‘Bizzy Bites’. Your
organisation provides catering for all corporate events such as meetings, seminars, award evenings all
over Sydney. You have received a request to cater for 100 guests at a charity Gala Dinner that will be held
on a boat. The guest come from culturally diverse background and you have been asked to cater for
guest that have specific dietary requirements. The charity event happens to fall on the same day as 2
other corporate catering jobs you have already committed to, however you and your team have decided
to take on the job. A request has been made that all food, beverages and wait staff must be ready by
5:00pm as the guest will be aboard the ship by 5:30pm for a 6:00pm sail. You have enlisted several of
your staff to assist in planning and organising of this project to ensure a successful output.
