Chapter 4 Discussion Questions Question 3 When looking for a job opportunity and I am deciding if I want that certain job, there are different aspects that I take into consideration before pursuing. First, I determine if the company is a place that I am interested in working and if it is close to home. Also, I take into consideration the commute to and from especially during the winter months to make sure that I would not have to travel to far out when the roads become hazardous. The hours and days that are expected are something in which I am able to make do. Secondly, I determine if I meet the qualifications such as experience or certifications that are expected of me to perform the job efficiently. Lastly, the compensation is the last thing that I evaluate to determine if I want to pursue with the job opening for the performance they are expecting. Question 5 The advice that I would give a company to help them take advantage of the benefits a job analysis has to offer without wasting unnecessary time and resources doing a traditional job analysis
