In the articles written by Savuleschu, Foddy, and Clayton (2007) and another one isby Kolata (1999), both study of the use of Performance-Enhancing Drug (PEDs) in theathletic world. These articles aimed to provide further evidence on the way of PEDs werebeing used by most of the athletes. The research revealed that there are advantages and alsodrawbacks of taking PEDs. For all different types of sports figures, there is a strongtemptation to enhance their performance through the use of PEDs and increasingly they canfind those PEDs that may help them do it. Furthermore, the use of PEDs by athletes is not anew phenomenon, but in the last decade or so the issue has received much public attention.This has resulted in renewed focus on the question of whether the use of PEDs in sportsought to be prohibited.
