Sean Johnson Rough Draft Q20 0764532 Water puts out fire, common knowledge correct? No, Water does put out fire except in area’s where Hydraulic Fracking is done, then water catches on fire. No one can say to any degree that it is normal or acceptable to be able to set your own water from you tap on fire. After viewing the movie “Gas Land” there were parts of the movie that I found very interesting and sadly at the same time I was quite disturbed. For Companies to not disclaim that there are hundreds of different chemicals used in the Fracking process and state that there is no immediate danger to our drink- ing water why are they exempt from the Safe Drinking Water Act? How did this even come up for exemp- tion when claims state that it is safe? If this is a necessary means of releasing natural gases then the pro’s should be discussed along with the cons and let the people decide.
