When it comes to finding a good solid location for any business, it is hard yet important decision to make for an individual that just starting their own business. By choosing the perfect location can help them with sales and productivity as well as attracting the right consumer and hiring the best employees. Whatever location is picked depends on the type of business you are trying to establish. Also it will depend on the market and characteristics of the market such as the age, gender, and income. The need to see consumers and customers at the business will make a difference in a good start of things. Promotion is the process that can be used in sharing information on or about the products or services to customers, shareholder, and to the public. Soon as you come up with a good positive way to reach these groups, then the better it will be for the company. Although some businesses will be using a mixture of advertising, sales promotion to successfully promote their products and services. Distribution Channels A distribution channel is a network where individuals and organizations involve in getting products and services from the producer to the customer. Also this channel is known as the marketing channel or marketing distribution channel ( ). With this kind of relationship there should be no issues in achieving certain roles, but as who to get in attaining them. They can be carried out by the producer or intermediary from the distribution network. According to mplans.com, (1996-2017) there are different channel functions, but some are more important than others. They are as such (I will only name a few): Information : Gather and distribute marketing information on future and current customers, competitors, and other details of the marketing process. Promotion : Create and share marketing communications drafted to announcing and getting the attention of customers.
Negotiation : Reach final agreement on the price and other terms of the proceedings. Funding : Receive access to funds to finance investors at a variety of levels of the marketing channel. Risk taking : Take a chance of risks in performing the functions of the channel by such as outdated or damaged inventory, and etc. Length and Width of the channel The channels can be clarified by its size, which measurements are length and width: Length is the quantity of intermediary links within the supply process.
