Brenna Case Social injustice was first presented when Brenna mother disregarded that Brenna was abused by her boyfriend. Being disregarded by her mother caused Brenna to have negative self-images so she began looking for someone to show her love and acceptance that her mother lacked to show her. Acceptance she found was an abusive boyfriend who had severe personal issues. A social worker used some strategies to help Brenna. Getting Brenna enrolled in a GED program was a huge factor that will help Brenna get a job to provide for her and her baby. The worker also helped get Brenna signed up for programs to help with her prenatal care. Brenna was able to see a therapy to help her understand how her relationship wasn’t healthy and that she needed to cut ties with her boyfriend. Brenna social worker will need to continue maintaining follow ups with Brenna. Brenna should get a mentor to encourage her to further her education and help her with getting the necessary grants and scholarships she might be
