Hi Linda,
Thanks for your insight on the matter at hand. I enjoyed reading your post, and
we share similar belief as to how health care should be a right for every individual
regardless of differences. While I agree with your statement that the health care system
is facing a major crisis regarding delivery of care to the population, I hold a strong
opinion that each person in the community has to take personal responsibility for their
health and well-being by actually seeking out valuable community resources. It is also
my opinion that this generation for some have a strong feeling of entitlement, and
therefore takes less responsibility for their actions; many would not seek out
information, nor use a "free health care" even when available.
While there is significant room for improvement on the government’s part in
reducing barriers to health care access, one of the biggest challenges that healthcare
practitioners face involve issues of health beliefs and practices. “Routine and accepted
