5.22 - In today’s world ISP is much more complex today than it was before. Today majority of work is done through internet and it involves many classified information, personal data and bank authorizations. As we know the crimes have gone digital in this computer age. Previously criminal used to flee from the crime scene with the help of their horses. Later they used to do so with the help of automobiles. But now the scenario has completely changed. If an individual wants to rob a bank he does not need a horse or automobiles but a computer with internet connection and a bit of computing knowledge. So the demand of security has increased with the increase in technology. In the given context if a computer has a fingerprint reader than I would personally suggest that ISP should use both the fingerprint reader and password for accessing the internet. Yes, it is true that it leads to redundancy but if you ask me I would rather look at as being secured than looking it as a redundancy issue for few reasons. 1. Different people with same fingerprints do exist. Though the number is very less but yes they do exist. 2. With the use of latest technology one can get the fingerprint details.
