Discuss the Project Manager's role in managing risk.The project manager’s role is to expect the expected along with the unexpected by continuously assessing potential risks prior, during, and at the conclusion of any project. This is typically executed by following seven specific processes which includes risk management planning, risk identification, qualitative risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning, risk monitoring and control, and risk management register. In additionto assessing, the project manager must prioritize each risk by categorizing it by probability and impact and calculating the risk priority number followed by the proper approach in handling the risk.Hypothesize if a certain expertise is required to adequately identify and assess project risks.
