CLINICAL Clinical Field Experience D: Assessment and Feedback Part 1: Summative Assessment For the summative assessment for this group of students, I decided that the students in my breakout group will do a final project/paper. In the final project portion of the paper, the students will draw a picture of a person obeying a law or rule in one of the settings that we identified in the lesson (school, home, and town). This picture will also be required to be colored. The students will be required to write two paragraphs where they will explain the law or rule that they have chosen. They will tell what the law or rule is, why they chose it, and why this law or rule exists or should exist. They will also tell what would happen if the law or rule did not exist (i.e. people could get hurt). Each paragraph should be a minimum of three sentences. This will allow for me to assess if students understood what laws and rules were and how they apply to the world. The picture will allow for me to assess if they are able to create works of art that are about their homes, school, or community life.
