Jessica Asmus _ Interoperability and the HER 1. Describe at least two problems or issues you see with Doomore trying to get drug allergy data transferred directly from Primicare. The first big problem that I see is that Doomore’s database relies on patient id compared to an id number and a patient name. This is an issue as both Primicare and Doomore do not use the same form of patient ID. Also Primicare lists also the patient by their first and last name while Doomore does not. 2. Do you think either or both of, Doomore Hospital and Primicare, could improve upon their drug allergy system tables and use of them? Please explain how. I do think that both Doomore Hospital and Primicare could improve their drug allergy systems tables. I would add the feature of looking up patient’s by first and last name, also include the MaxLab patient id system in to this as well. That way all data transmitted across the platform is recognized by each facility, 3.
