Chapter 2: The Tools of Psychological Research -Describe the four important steps of the scientific method. -Define hypothesis and operational definition and be able to give an example of each. -Define validity and describe why it is important. -Describe what occurs in naturalistic observation and how it relates to reactivity. -Define “case study” and describe the pros and cons of them.
