Unformatted text preview: helping and all the other boys were swimming. Then I see Simon wonder off to go for a swim, but then he wonders off into the woods. He made his way through the jungle and found a very nice and quiet place to be alone. I was still looking at the water while all the other boys were in the ocean swimming. How this Reading Relates to You This reading relates to me greatly because of how Ralph was having trouble managing the boys. In the chapter Ralph was doing all the work while everyone else was sitting and having fun in the ocean. This relates to me because when I get partnered up sometimes to do a project the person I am working with never does his part and always makes me do everything at the end. Which I don’t like because that puts too much stress on me; this only happened three times, but I want it to never happen again. Also, when Ralph calls a meeting, so everyone can get on task they work for a couple minutes and then they just slack off. This happened to me in 7 th grade when we were doing our history day project which was very important. I started doing my part and I finished, I checked on my group and turns out they didn’t do any of their stuff. We meet up in school and I told them to get on task, but they only did a little and started to slack. The next day I told the teacher because this project depended on my grade and he set them straight, and in a couple of weeks we were done. This is how the events in the chapter related to me greatly....
