How this Reading Relates to You This reading relates to me a lot because of what the was taken away from Ralph’s group. In the chapter Jack stole Piggy’s glasses and wouldn’t give them back after Ralph asked him for, and sadly in that confrontation Piggy was killed by a rolling rock that Roger had rolled. In 5 th grade we were doing an essay in class; we were working on it for two days because he gave us a long time. I went to the bathroom and came back to see my paper missing, I look around the room and I see my paper because I recognize my hand writing. This boy in my class that always likes to make problems, he took my paper when I was in the bathroom and made it his paper. I decided to go up to him with a friend and ask how far he has got in. So, we went up and we asked him, and he said, “ya I am almost done.” That was surprising to both of us because yesterday he was messing around not even doing anything. My friend noted that the paper looked like my writing, but he denied it and he wouldn’t give it back. I told my teacher and he went to him, he compared hand writing s and found that the paper is mine. So, then my teacher made him stay after school and clean up for 30min, and I Abou Abbas 3 got my paper back. That’s how this reading related to me greatly because of what was taken from Piggy....
