Group Project I am available to assist and brainstorm ideas for each stage of the project. You and your team are consultants hired by the XYZ Manufacturing company to evaluate the health and state of their business. Your goal is to review the data and information provided about the company and then develop a variety of relevant, realistic, and actionable recommendations. You will create a professional presentation detailing the recommendations and providing the backup support behind these recommendations? Any recommendations made should be based on concrete evidence, analysis, and evaluation of the information and not based on general opinions. For example, perhap you think it would be wise if the XYZ company lowers their price because you sense that would help grow their business. However if you have not performed an analysis that shows such an outcome would likely grow their business, then even though this recommendation might be logical, it cannot be substantiated. Your tasks is to do a thorough analysis and develop recommendations that can be substantiated. Then you must present these recommendations with the corresponding rationale to the management of this company. Any time between Nov 26 and Dec 13, you will formally present via conference call your analysis to me. The way this will work is you and your team will write a Power Point presentation. Over the phone, you and your team will walk me through your presentation. Each member of the team is expected to work in advance on the analysis, development of the recommendations and implications, and craft the presentation. Plus each member of the team will participate in the presentation. The entire presentation will be graded on the depth, realism, and actionability of the recommendations made, the underlying rationale for these recommendations including the depth and accuracy of the analyses made to support the recommendations, and on the ability to explain and convey the value of the entire thought stream. You will need to be professional in how you present and be professional in what you present. You will need to be careful in drawing the conclusions from the analyses you undertake. And you must understand which analyses are appropriate and how to apply them.
