    Exam #1 – Web CT based Exam #1 ( 50 questions at 2 points each for a sub- total of 100 points  with four bonus questions at 2  point each for a sub-total of 8 points, Total possible  points 108 ) 25 True or False 25 Multiple Choice WINDOW TIME:   Opens - THURSDAY September 28th at 10:00 AM Closes  - FRIDAY September 29th at 5:00 PM DURATION: One hour (60 minutes)

    WebCT: Taking a quiz or exam Forward and back icons will cause you to lose your work You must choose  SAVE  after each question  and  FINISH  when done . If taking the exam at  HOME , JAVA may be an issue, is your decision  and your risk.   Check to ensure you have the correct version.  When you log into WebCT Vista the first page loaded will have a link  on the left column to assist you download the needed Java version RECOMEND  you take the test from a lab on campus. Strongly suggest that you  take the test as soon as the window is  opened  in order to avoid emergencies. “WHEN” you take the test is your decision “What” happens is also your risk

    Timely Suggestions Take the test as soon as possible Take it at a time that is ‘best’ for you I.e. after shower and breakfast (brain food is  greasy) Stay away from ‘after lunch’ or ‘dinner’  Watch what you eat: turkey, onions and  carbohydrates tend to induce sleep)

    Passing Suggestions Read the test in several passes First pass, read all and  nail the easy Second pass, read remaining and  spend some time  on medium Third pass, read carefully and  spend most time on  the difficult ones Fourth pass, read the  whole exam  again Note:  Although the quizzes and the exams are designed with a  time constraint, they are not restrictive regarding  referencing books or notes
